Being creative is defined as being characterized by originality and expressiveness, being imaginative, inventive and productive. Creativity allows ones to have tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others. Creativity is fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight.

In order to be creative, ones need to be able to view things in several new ways or from a different perspective. Among other things, ability to generate new possibilities or new alternatives is also considered as creativity.
